GEC Academy launched the first COBIS-affiliated Research Skills Competition, engaging over 25 international schools across Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. Building on this success, GEC co-develops structured research programs that integrate seamlessly into existing Sixth Form curricula — with zero additional workload for school staff.

Designed for students with foundational research skills, this program delivers intensive methodology training led by academics from world-leading institutions, including Oxford, Cambridge, UCLA, and Chicago.

Students learn to:

Formulate precise research questions

Design robust methodologies
Present academic findings effectively

UCAS Tariff Pathway

Across all programs, students have the opportunity to submit a LASER-accredited research report. Successful submissions are awarded Level 3 qualifications with UCAS Tariff Points, strengthening university applications.
